For any small to medium sized company access to the latest and best developments in one’s field is crucial to long-term success. From its onset, Visual Tools recognized research into new imaging technologies (as digital video transmission, sound, real-time transmission, etc.) as the natural way to reach its internationalization and growth.

For this reason, the Research and Development department of Visual Tools regularly participates in numerous projects, most of them supported by the Industry General Directorate of the European Community in what the company considers a great opportunity to be in contact with European companies leading their respective sectors, and to improve its products with new and better applications.

DEVELOPMENT

The Research and Development department also assumes the task of turning the results from research into final products. This stage implies production, costs and reliability tasks in which all products, versions and new features are thoroughly tested.

Before reporting the technological and functional validity of the products, this area ratifies the adaptation to the international markets by observing carefully the specificities of each country regarding communications, video signals, constrains, standards (like FCC o CEE certifications) or basic components.

And all with the final goal of providing clients with reliable, handy and affordable remote surveillance solutions.
