Version 4.0 of the DVRs VX is being implemented progressively to reach all units  (VX, VX-PeCo, VX-POS and VX-PeCo-POS).

This latest version, besides providing VX unit users with 4TB HDD and NTSC models, incorporates several improvements aimed at facilitating access to both live and recorded video images.

Among the enhancements offered by this new version are:

Possibility of masking areas of any image of the installed cameras
this tool permits to configure in local or remotely any VX to mask permanently any area of a connected camera image and thus protect identities or places that don't want to be displayed. Once the filter has been configured and applied on an image, it will remain for all the video states: live video, recorded video, alarm transmission… until it is reconfigured.

Increase in the speed of the recorded video downloads via Internet
that permits the VX units to make use of the available bandwidth to download the recorded sequences requested from the web interface of the unit or from the management software Supervisor VS.

Optimized interface for viewing live video on smartphones
Besides the specific applications for viewing live video on BlackBerry and Pocket PC devices, now the VX units have an optimized interface for viewing live video images on Apple and Android OS smartphones and tablets with no need to install any additional software.

Video Motion Detection (VMD) filters on any type of recording
In former versions searching by VMD could only be applied over time-lapse recordings. In version 4.0 the users will be able to search by movement on any type of recording: time-lapse and event recordings, even if the movement has been generated by VMD. And, as usual, the results of the searching process over a 24h period will be displayed in a few seconds.
